H&M is kicking off their spring and summer collection with bold animal prints, and there’s definitely a lot more in the pipeline that expressive fashion enthusiasts can look forward to.
‘ SS19 collection is inspired by the “glam explorer” and the idea of effortless glamour’ There are so many exciting occasions to look forward to during spring and summer and one of them has got to be Coachella.
Here are some of the designs you can expect from the SS19 collection:
Spice up your look with the sleeveless zebra print top where it hugs your figure perfectly. The pants and structured utility jacket in camel colour could easily teleport one to the breathtaking Arizona desert.
The rainbow-hued printed dress definitely reminds me of the colours from sunset, although it’s actually inspired by the vibrantly-hued mineral ponds of Utah. If you’re not a pro-rainbow colours person, you can opt for the more vibrant pieces from the collection as well, such as the orange coloured pieces.
The dress and jumpsuit in zebra prints is definitely something loud and bold. The frilly fringes and asymmetrical hems embodies the uncertain patterns of mother nature in its most natural and glamourous way.
For a more light, breezy feeling garments, you can definitely count on these vintage-looking white blouse and dress.
The white flowy dress definitely creates an image of “a runaway bride”, inspired by the famous 1975 French movie, Le Sauvage, with Catherine Deneuve as a runaway bride on a tropical island.
A free-spirited glam explorer in some of the thrilling pieces from the SS19 collection. This could be a good time for you to master your approach to maximalist fashion.
– with the unconventional colour matching, bold prints, adding some ornaments here, there and pretty much everywhere –
Here’s are some of my personal picks from the SS19 collection.
It’s been pretty fun to mix & match! These two picks totally reflect the line: “she might be going to a party one evening in a sequined skirt, but the next morning she’s up early to go to yoga in her metallic-stripe leggings.” – Pernilla Wohlfahrt, Design Director H&M.
PS // H&M SS19 collection will be available for purchase on 21st March online and in H&M Lot10 store.
