STAY CATION
Over the weekends, I spent two days for a staycation over at Hard Rock Hotel Penang. It was a truly relaxing and wonderful experience that I would like to share with you guys.
Lagoon Deluxe Room, which is their best-seller of all times.
On the 50-inch LED TV, you can play all kinds of songs and even watch blockbuster movies while laying comfortably on the soft bed. In addition to that, you will also get a handy phone, which means you get free local calls & international calls as well! I think this is very thoughtful for their guests, especially for foreigners to get in touch with their loved ones without hassle.
When I entered the room, I was greeted with a luxurious space with 2 huge single beds equipped with technology and gadgets.
After changing into swimsuit, I had a quick dip at the pool. I also went to play the water slides cause why not? One is never too old to play water slides. Just a kind reminder to prepare appropriate swimwear for hygiene purposes, if not you might be banned from the entering the pool.
You can always have a quick drink at “The Shack” as it is just by the swimming pool. It is a swim-up bar serves a variety of international and local beverages in a unique setting. If you are staying in the Lagoon Deluxe Room, the serves from “The Shack” will even bring your food and drinks to your private deck from the pool.
Speaking of dedication! They even have underwater stools for you to sit on, half-submerged in the pool while chatting away to your refreshing drinks, cuteee!
Later at night, I had my dinner at Hard Rock Cafe. The cafe features a live band stage and a Rock Shop which offers Hard Rock’s latest and limited edition merchandise. Enjoyed the live band and even sang so loudly to the songs cause major throwback moment. The food there was really delicious as well, munching my pizza away for the rest of the evening.
The Lagoon Deluxe is directly connected to the swimming pool, which the largest free-form swimming pool in northern Malaysia.
Consider getting yourself a tan on the sun bed on the deck if you do not know how to swim like me.

The next morning, I went to Rock Spa right before checking out. Rock Spa offers a diverse selection of services such as massages, body scrubs, body wraps, facials, manicure & pedicure and hair removal.
Since I’m constantly planning things on-the-go, a relaxing massage session like this really helps to cleanse my mind and rejuvenate my soul. While being pampered by the therapists, I also enjoyed the sound of waves and rustling leaves and the beautiful view from the private villa.
