Today, I was humbled to be invited to Ken TTDI to preview Louis Vuitton’s Spring Summer 2020 collection by Nicholas Ghesquière.
Nicholas Ghesquière is famous for his geo-centric inspired fashion items. Remember the last time he brought us to Beaubourg with his glorious collection? Well this season, Ghesquière is bringing us back to Paris in the Belle Époque–era.
Belle Époque, also known as the “golden age”, is a period after World War I. It was a period characterized by optimism, prosperity and innovations after the chaos and horrors of World War I. Most importantly, it is also the period when arts begins to flourish.
Let’s take a closer look at all the pieces from Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2020 Regional Presentation.
There were lots of Belle Époque references peeping through the pieces here and there. For an instance, the Art Nouveau touches which features colourful palettes on stained- glass and bouffants 🎨 I’m also in love with their monochrome pieces ❤️

In conclusion, we can expect lots floral prints & colours from Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2020 collection. The designs are also more structured with lots of stand-collars and mutton-sleeves blouses. The men’s designs are really conventional and
